According to DeKalb County Police, a 2009 Toyota Corolla slammed into the front of a neighbor's home across the street near Stone Mountain when her accelerator got stuck. The VIN indicated that her car was one of those recalled by Toyota for such problems. |

A 20-year old Georgia College student tells friends at Capitol City, a bar in Milledgeville, that she was sexually assaulted by Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. She reports the crime to a police officer on the scene before being treated at a local hospital for injuries, including bruising on her head. |

Neal Horsley, from Carrollton is arrested for making terroristic threats against Elton John. He stood in front of John's Atlanta apartment building with a sign saying "Elton John Must Die." He then posted a video of it on YouTube. Horsley was upset because John said Jesus was a "compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems" in Parade Magazine. |
