The youngest actor/actress to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award at the age of 8, Georgia-born actress Dakota Fanning already had significant acting experience. Following a Tide commercial, Fanning moved West at the urging of Atlanta talent scount Joy Pervis to Los Angeles where she landed roles in ER and CSI:Crime Scene Investigators.
